He left the tea on the hood of her car and tied the balloon to the door! What a cool surprise! Mom & Dad Have Lunch At Seasons 52 This Afternoon For Their Anniversary ~ Mom and Dad had a nice lunch at Seasons 52 this afternoon. It was fun to spend some quality time together on their anniversary. Tiffany & Ben Return This Afternoon From Orlando ~ Tiffany and Ben returned from Orlando this afternoon. On their way home, they stopped off to spend some time with Uncle Johnny in Palm Beach. Mom & Dad Go To Bikram Hot Yoga In Boca With Ron This Morning ~ Mom and Dad went to Ron's 11:30 AM class at Boca's Bikram Yoga in Boca Raton. It was the hottest and most humid class they have ever experienced, and they were really beat by the end of the class. There were several students that had to lie down during the class, that is how hot and humid the room was. Dee Cancels Physical Therapy With Tracy This Afternoon ~ Dee had to cancel his Physical Therapy session with Tracy due to his daughter being ill. We hope she is feeling better soon. The class was packed with lots of holiday yoginis visiting the area. Tiffany & Ben Go Scuba Diving Today ~ Tiffany and Ben went diving out by the Boca Inlet with Dixie Divers this morning. They did two dives by the Boca Resort. Tiffany said that it was really awesome and they saw a lot of sting rays, coral, and fish. Wilmene Feeds Tracy 8 Pouches Of Fruit With her Sassy Feeder This Afternoon ~ Wilmene fed Tracy 8 pouches of fresh fruit in her Sassy Feeder this afternoon. She did a good job chewing and swallowing; and really likes the banana. Tiffany & Ben Meet Cousin Chip At The Naughty Dog For Lunch This Afternoon ~ Ben and Tiffany met Chip for lunch at the Naughty Dog this afternoon after their diving trip. Tiffany Goes To Dixie Divers For Her SCUBA Recertification ~ Tiffany went to Dixie Divers this afternoon for her SCUBA recertification. She spent some time in the pool with two wet suits, since it was unseasonally cool for the pool. Marcus Comes To Do Physical Therapy With Tracy This Evening ~ Marcus came to do Physical Therapy with Tracy this evening. He and Grace got Tracy on the therapy peanut ball for trunk and neck strengthening exercises in front of the full length mirror. Tracy is doing a really good job with trunk and head control while sitting on the peanut. Then it was time to transfer Tracy to the bed for Passive Range Of Motion exercises of all of her major muscle groups. Marcus does a great job with Tracy's range of motion exercises and therapy sessions. Uncle Johnny Says Christmas Mass For The Family This Evening ~ Cousins Chip & Eileen, Vincente & Silverio Join The Family For Christmas Dinner This Evening ~ Uncle Johnny said a beautiful Christmas Mass this evening before dinner. It is so nice to have a priest in the family. Mom & Dad Cook Filet Mignons & Baked Stuffed Lobster Tails For This Evening ~ Mom and Dad grilled the bacon wrapped filet mignons and baked stuffed lobster tails for dinner this evening. Cousin Eileen brought a delicious salad and Aunt Diane and Uncle Jeff brought some delicious desserts. Wilmene Feeds Tracy Four Ounces Of Strawberry Activia Yogurt This Afternoon ~ Wilmene fed Tracy 4 ounces of Strawberry Activia yogurt in 15 minutes this afternoon. Dad Decorates The Boat With Christmas Lights This Afternoon ~ Dad decorated the boat with blue icicles this afternoon, getting ready for their annual boat ride to see the Christmas lights. Mom, Dad, Tiffany, Tracy, Maw Maw, Aunt Diane, & Uncle Jeff Go On The Boat For Christmas Eve This Evening ~ Everyone had a great evening on the boat to see the Christmas lights tonight. Aunt Diane and Uncle Jeff brought some delicious appetizers from Publix, and Mom brought on board Tracy's little tree and some animated decorations. It was a beautiful evening, with few boats out on the Intracoastal. Everyone was outside on their patios, with all of their Christmas lights on, and fire pits lit. Mom, Dad, Tracy, Grace & Maw Maw Go To 11:30 AM Mass At St. Pauls This Morning ~ Mom, Dad, Tracy, Grace, and Maw Maw went to 11:30 AM Mass at St. Paul's Church in Lighthouse Point. Mass was really nice, and they were glad they went. Mom, Dad, Tiffany, Tracy, & Maw Maw Go To Uncle Johnny's For Pizza, Song, & Worth Avenue This Evening ~ Mom, Dad, Tiffany, Tracy and Maw Maw went to Uncle Johnny's this evening for pizza, eggplant parmesan, and Caesar salad. After dinner, everyone gathered around the piano for Christmas carolling. Uncle Johnny hired the pianist from St. Lucy's Church to play his piano. It was so much fun singing the traditional carols! Then it was time to head to Worth Avenue for a stroll to Tiffany's to see the giant Christmas tree and all of the holiday decorations. The tree was gorgeous and a great backdrop for photo opportunities. Most of the stores were closed, but that didn't stop the gang from window shopping. Tracy sure does love her Spa Saturdays. Dee Comes To Do Physical Therapy & Massage With Tracy This Evening ~ Dee came to do Physical Therapy with Tracy this evening. He got Tracy prone on the mat for 30 minutes! She tolerated this position well, while Dee stretched and ranged her hips and lower back and shoulders. Then it was time to get Tracy on the therapy bench for some seated trunk and neck strengthening exercises. She is doing a great job during her Physical Therapy sessions. Mom Stays For Keri's Beginning Vinyasa Class This Morning ~ It was double dip time for Mom and Keri this morning at Awaken Hot Yoga Studio in Lighthouse Point. Mom was gearing up for her guests, arriving this Friday. Both classes were great! They enjoyed seeing all the ladies from Nana's condo and the church, and everyone said how much they missed Nana. Uncle Johnny got so many nice cloths and toys for the kids of his parish. Then it was time for Tracy to sit on the peanut therapy ball to strengthen her trunk and head control. Tracy did a really good job holding up her head, even against Marcus' resistance. It was a really good session, with Tracy sitting up tall in the saddle and holding her head up. She even caught her head one time from falling. She really benefits so much from these sessions. They really needed it; they were way overdue. Dee Comes To Do Tracy's Physical Therapy This Afternoon ~ Dee came to do Tracy's Physical Therapy session this afternoon. He started with a Thai massage on the therapy mat, stretching and massaging Tracy's major muscle groups. Then he and Wilmene got Tracy on the bench for some trunk and neck strengthening exercises. After the bench, Dee worked with Tracy on the BOSU for balance and vestibular exercises. He does such a great job with Tracy! It was so hot and steamy in the yoga room, just the way Mom likes it! Grace Gives Tracy A Warming Massage This Afternoon ~ Grace gave Tracy a massage using her handwarming mitts and scented lotion. She is still leaving her right mitt off to allow her blister to heal. Mom can see a difference in it; it seems to be healing nicely with the Bacitracin. Wilmene Feeds Tracy Some Frozen Fruit With Her Safe Feeder ~ Wilmene fed Tracy some frozen banana, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries this afternoon. She ate it all with the use of her Safe Feeder. Marcus Comes This Evening To Do Physical Therapy With Tracy ~ Marcus came this evening to do Tracy's Physical Therapy. First, he and Grace transferred Tracy to the peanut therapy ball for head and trunk strengthening exercises. Tracy did a good job holding up her head and sitting up tall on the ball. She could not believe how fast Tracy's hair grew since she last cut and highlighted it! It hasn't been that long, but they both were super tight, especially their shoulders and neck. Dad was hooking up Mom's Sirius/XM radio when he backed the van out of the garage to test the satellite signal. Unfortunately, he ended up backing into Emily's car, right where she was hit (and repaired) several months ago! Thank goodness it was only a few scratches and he was able to punch out the little dent in the left front bumper. Ouch! Mom Watches Parenthood This Evening ~ Mom loves the show: Parenthood! It was hot and steamy in the studio and Keri taught a very challenging classs. Wilmene & Ketteline Give Tracy A Manicure This Morning ~ Wilmene and Ketteline gave Tracy a manicure this morning. She loves her spa Saturdays. Dee & Marcus Come To Reassess Tracy & Discuss A New Physical Therapy Plan Of Care For The New Year ~ Marcus and Dee came to reassess Tracy to develop a new plan of care for her Physical Therapy in the new year. They spent some time measuring Tracy's range of motion with a goniometer, and then discussed Tracy's therapy goals. Everyone seemed pleased with Tracy's progress, and they agreed that trunk and head control were the primary therapy goals to continue to pursue. Dee worked with Tracy prone on the mat, and Tracy tolerated 21 minutes. While she was on her tummy, Dee was able to massage her back and also stretch out her hips. Wilmene Puts Tracy's Handwarmers On Her Left Hand This Afternoon ~ Tracy's right hand heel still has a blister, so Wilmene left it out of the warming mitt. Wilmene Stays Later This Evening While Mom & Dad Goes To Dinner With Friends ~ Mom and Dad enjoyed a fun evening with friends at the Texas De Brazil Restaurant. It was their first time and what a treat! Mom never saw so much meat in her life. They bring big cuts of cooked meat on skewers to the table and shave a piece off which you take with little tongs. Pretty interesting but certainly no place for a vegetarian. Mom got her fill of protein for the rest of the century!
